MIBEX specialises in explosion safety and ATEX and IECEx requirements for electrical and non-electrical equipment, machinery, assemblies, skids and installations.

We support manufacturers, machine builders and end users with ignition hazard assessments and explosion-safe design. We provide advice on technical requirements, suitable types of protection and practical solutions for equipment and installations in potentially explosive gas and dust atmospheres. We also prepare technical documentation and support manufacturers with ATEX conformity assessments and IECEx certification.

Through our extensive practical experience and active participation in the Dutch Standards Committee on Explosion Safety, we combine up-to-date knowledge of standards with practical, technically sound advice.

ATEX Folding Booklet

MIBEX, in collaboration with X-Traco and KNEX, has developed an ATEX fold-out booklet with a unique installation card. It provides a graphical overview of the most important ATEX-relevant installation requirements for electrical equipment in gas and dust environments according to EN 60079-14.
