ATEX 153 implementation
MIBEX can help end users to assess the explosion risks in accordance with ATEX 153. This includes hazardous area classification, setting up an explosion protection document and determining control measures.
The implementation of ATEX153 after the preparation of an explosion protection document is sometimes left behind. MIBEX can advise and guide you with the implementation of technical and organizational measures in the context of ATEX 153 (Directive 1999/92/EC). Carrying out a risk assessment on existing equipment, advising on and carrying out inspections and training people is part of our services.
MIBEX ATEX also offers advice on the maintenance of explosion-proof equipment at end users. Determining maintenance intervals, training technicians and assessing the state of equipment is possible.
If equipment should be used outside Europe, IECEx may be required or a good basis for local laws and regulations. MIBEX offers advice and guidance in the preparations to come to IECEx certification at a notified body.
